All of our soaps are made with Olive oil. We also use other vegetarian oils like Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Carrot Oil, etc. We add vitamins, extracts, pure essential oils, organic and wild harvested herb infusions, carrot, blueberries, witch hazel, and many other ingredients. All of our herbs are either organic or wild harvested from chemical free lands. Some of our oils are organic, also. The only animal product used is beeswax in our lip balms and ointments. Cold Process Soap vs Other soap processes

Cold Process soap uses an excess of fat (superfatted) to consume the lye leaving additional unsaponified oils to moisturize and protect skin.

Cold process soap contains only oils, water, and lye for the soap base and usually additional nutritive ingredients, colors, or scents are added after the soap has reached saponification (the lye molecules have attached to the oil molecules). Our soap does not contain additional colors.

Commercial Soaps contain many chemical and are usually detergents and not soap at all. They do not call themselves soap but facial bars, beauty bar, cleaner, or cleanser.

Cold Process soap is not boiled, melted, or manually heated other than the natural heat that the chemical process of saponification generates.

Cold Process Soap contain glycerin naturally as a by-product of the saponification of the oils. It is not necessary to add it in additionally and it is not removed as it is in commercial soaps.

Cold process soap is not milled soap though it can be milled. Milled soap is soap that is processed again or several times.

Cold process soap (if properly made) does not contain lye after the chemical process and the curing time has ended.

Cold process soap is the true homemade soap. It doesn’t begin with soap flakes, or a premade soap base for melting and pouring into molds, or premade soap log that is purchased, packaged, and sold as homemade.
