This compares to 15 to 18 SPF sunscreen (for more details go to the bath and body page and read about our sunscreen). Try to keep babies and small children out of the sun during the peak sun hours of 11am to 3 pm. Babies should only get a few minutes of direct sunlight, never full sun for long periods. Keep babies and small children in shaded areas as much as possible even with sunscreen on. They over heat easily and their skin is very thin so check them often to make sure they are not getting too much sun. It is also best to have them wear a sun hat and clothing with short sleeves.
